About

Who Am I?

I am a Ph.D. student in Psychiatry at the University of Montreal, specializing in sleep and dream science. With a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience, I combine rigorous scientific training with deep curiosity to advance the emerging field of dream engineering—exploring how we can understand, influence, and harness the power of our dreaming minds.

What Am I Doing?

My current research centers on developing innovative sensory stimulation techniques to enhance dream experiences by incorporating desirable elements, improving sleep quality and depth, and boosting emotional well-being. At the Dream Engineering Lab, my findings suggest that we can influence dream content to create profoundly meaningful experiences during sleep, elevate waking mood, and increase the likelihood of lucid dreaming— a state with tremendous potential for personal growth and therapeutic use. These findings have broad implications, from enhancing individual well-being to advancing treatments for PTSD, depression, and Locked-in Syndrome, as well as improving memory, cognitive performance, and creativity.

I am actively engaged in numerous scientific organizations dedicated to advancing knowledge, including the International Association for the Study of Dreams (IASD) and the Canadian Sleep Society (CSS). Each year, I lead and organize in-person events and oversee several social media platforms to raise awareness about dream science and sleep health across diverse communities.

How Am I Doing It?

Having collaborated with seven research teams in Montreal and Boston, I have developed extensive expertise in experimental design, sleep technologies, and interdisciplinary innovation. I utilize both objective and subjective measures of sleep, health, and mood, alongside self-reported daily habits, dream content and emotions, and personality traits. My current research is primarily conducted at the Dream Engineering Lab (DxE Lab). Feel free to contact me for more information.

Why Am I Doing It?

By unraveling the deep workings of the psyche and their influence on emotions, my mission is to connect the conscious self with the mysterious dreaming self, nurturing creativity, emotional strength, and a richer sense of wholeness.

I envision a future where dream engineering is accessible to everyone, providing tools to enhance sleep, elevate mood, and support mental health, while empowering individuals to harness the transformative power of their dreams.

I am always excited to explore new ideas and collaboration opportunities. If you share my passion for advancing the science of dreams and the human mind, let’s connect and create something meaningful together.
